About Claudia McGrath Counseling

The things I have always been most passionate about include my counseling practice, family, children, and now grandchildren. These things have been a constant and grounding influence in my life. I enjoy walking outdoors, hiking, biking, and more recently Pickleball. I am passionate about learning and practicing new skills both in my personal and professional life. I try to practice in my personal life the things that will give me the strength and energy to be useful to my clients and others. I do this imperfectly and with enthusiasm.

The pandemic of 2020 caused me to close my office practice in Fargo and opened the door to providing Teletherapy sessions, which I do for clients in North Dakota. In August 2020 I relocated to Asheville, North Carolina and as of February 13, 2023, I now have a physical office location in Asheville where I see clients in person or through Teletherapy.

Testimonials

I’ve known Claudia since 2017. Being an immigrant, I had lost hope of finding a therapist who’d understand my cultural differences. Not only did she understand my needs, but she also helped me understand my trauma. She’s always gone above and beyond with me. Even after I moved to a different state where I had a hard time finding a therapist, she was the one who helped and connected me with my current therapist.
